Bio: Jason Bice was previously an undergraduate at the University of Florida, working as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Curtis Taylor's laboratory. He graduated in May 2015 with his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During his time at Florida, he presented at the 2014 NanoFlorida Conference in Miami regarding his work with sodium alginate mechanical characterization. This work led him to Purdue to work under Dr. Erk to explore polymer physics. Outside of academic pursuits, Jason enjoys extensive traveling in the US and around the world, STEM outreach, and community outreach.
